The atmosphere at the World Cup
Jun 24th, 2010 by thebarometer
The first ever, brand new, inaugural, shiny podcast from the University of Manchester Centre for Atmospheric Science. This week talking about the World Cup: why is it tough to play at high altitude? Is the Jabulani ball really rubbish? Also a round up of some stories from the atmospheric science community like the drought in N.W. England, dodgy science reporting and hurricane predictions.
Featuring: Gavin McMeeking (host), Andy Russell, Will Morgan, Grant Allan, Niall Robinson, Hugo Ricketts, Jennifer Muller

Good show! - Looking forward to ‘Grant’s Rant’
